Photographers Profile: Eleanor Gibbons
22 year old Eleanor has always enjoyed photography but started taking
pictures professionally 3 years ago. She is currently studying for a BA
(Hons) in Media Photography at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design
in her home country of the UK.
She is experienced in all aspects of photography but has a particular
passion for documentary and editorial imagery. Eleanor loves travelling
and visited Vanghat in April 2006 with an aim to document the conservation
efforts to protect the beautiful Mahseer fish in Northern India
"The main thing I love about photography is that it gets me into
everything and represents the world through my eyes. I've always wanted
to make a difference and make people aware of life that is going on around
them, and I feel through photography I am able to do this. I want
to change the world for the better, even if its only in a small way..."
